Oh, I’ve been there many years ago. And very close to it, just across the field, on a small hill in the river Nerl’, stands the Church of the Intercession, the oldest surviving church in Russia. It’s amazingly beuatiful, and the interior still bears some medieval murals. Just for you to know, if you haven’t been there yet. Apparently in spring it stands in the water, because the area is flooded.
